Handwoven by Amazigh women artisans in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco
Light, airy and full of joy, this Azilal rug scatters slender hand-drawn lines across a soft ivory wool ground. Charcoal strokes are flecked with confetti bursts of pink, blue, yellow, turquoise and red, gathered around a single terracotta arch motif at the centre. It is the playful, minimal-yet-colorful side of Berber weaving — knotted freehand, woven to order, and entirely one of a kind.
